The Ashfall Edge desk is crafted from a single slab of salvaged Oregon white oak, brought to life through a dramatic waterfall edge — where the grain flows smoothly from the desktop down the side at a seamless 90° turn.

What sets this piece apart is the presence of charred sections within the slab, which continue uninterrupted across the waterfall edge. These scorched areas were meticulously filled with clear resin and polished to a mirror-like finish, creating a stunning contrast against the soft matte texture of the wood. The process is highly technical and labor-intensive, resulting in a desk that is truly one of a kind.

The Ashveil table is crafted from old-growth redwood salvaged in the aftermath of a northern California wildfire. Subtle traces of char remain visible beneath layers of opaque resin — preserved rather than erased — adding character, history, and contrast to the piece.

Its surface features rare ‘curl’ figure — a type of wood grain pattern that shimmers and appears to move with the light, while remaining perfectly flat to the touch. This natural phenomenon gives the table depth, motion, and sculptural complexity without altering its function or silhouette.

Old-growth redwood is uniquely capable of producing such rich, flowing curls, making this a visually dynamic and highly collectible piece.

The Elmroot coffee table is crafted entirely from a single slab of solid elm — not a composite, but a continuous cut showcasing uninterrupted grain and natural figure. Even the legs are made from the same slab, ensuring tonal harmony and material consistency throughout the piece.

All joinery is executed with traditional wooden dowels and glue — no screws, no nails — delivering both strength and timeless character. Small natural cracks in the surface are reinforced with matching elm bow tie inlays, cut from the very same tree, for a cohesive and subtle detail.

The finish is a premium European-style natural oil — offering the durability of polyurethane without the synthetic feel. The result is a surface smooth as glass, yet warm and tactile to the touch, celebrating the true essence of wood.
