Ashfall Edge

(8 customer reviews)

The Ashfall Edge desk is crafted from a single slab of salvaged Oregon white oak, brought to life through a dramatic waterfall edge — where the grain flows smoothly from the desktop down the side at a seamless 90° turn.

What sets this piece apart is the presence of charred sections within the slab, which continue uninterrupted across the waterfall edge. These scorched areas were meticulously filled with clear resin and polished to a mirror-like finish, creating a stunning contrast against the soft matte texture of the wood. The process is highly technical and labor-intensive, resulting in a desk that is truly one of a kind.

  1. Naomi Fields

The desk surface feels incredibly durable, even with the exposed resin. The only thing I’d improve is adding a cable pass-through option.

  2. Eric Bloom

It’s truly a piece of art — the mix of matte and gloss is striking. Took off one star only because fingerprints are visible on the resin if you don’t keep it clean.

  3. Lily Chen

The matte oak is soft to the touch, while the resin areas reflect light beautifully. The balance between raw and refined is spot on.

  4. Jonas Park

No visible hardware, no distractions — just clean geometry and honest materials. This is the kind of piece you invest in once and never replace.

  5. Devin Romero

The waterfall edge gives this desk such a sculptural feeling. It doesn’t just sit in the room — it defines it. Functional, but deeply artistic.

  6. Aria Gomez

The charred zones preserved under resin look like frozen fire. It’s both subtle and bold. The craftsmanship is on a completely different level.

  7. Jenna Wallace

The grain flowing over the waterfall edge is mesmerizing. The clear resin over the charred sections adds a layer of complexity I haven’t seen in any other desk.

  8. Tessa Klein

Incredible detail in the resin work. I’ve had people ask if the burns were accidental — until they see the clarity and polish. It’s intentional and beautiful.
